Blog #4 OHP Process

Blog #4 OHP Process Q 1:  What did you enjoy most about the interview process of the Oral History Project?            The most enjoyable part of the OHP was the interview portion, you could learn so many ways of how people helped the recovery process of hurricane Harvey. Persepolis Blog #3

Persepolis Blog # 3 Why do you think Marjane needed to move away from Iran?  Moving away from Iran for her was only to better her life in education, and because of the laws restricting women from doing specific things that are perfectly possible and legal in most countries. Also, I feel as if the education system at that time in most Middle Eastern countries was corrupt and could be improved over the years. But they showed no improvement in her years of school so they sent her to Austria. Another great reason is that she could be safe from the on going war and bombings in her neighborhood and she could get all of the educational rights and usual rights that any traditional Euro would get. Overall I think this was a really good decision made by her parents to better her education, and to better her future.
